Exercise your taste buds today as you try some of the world's finest wines, including a wine ranked 100/100 by Robert Parker. You're invited to attend a special, confidential wine-tasting session at the Pessac-Léognan-classified Château Smith Haut Lafitte estate.
The estate itself dates back to the Crusades, and its terroir is a superb gravel underlay in a single block. Smith Haut Lafitte has become a leading light among exceptional Bordeaux wines. In addition to restoring the Château's 16th-century tower, renovating the underground silos, building their own cooperage, and introducing organic methods such as horse-drawn plowing and homemade compost, the owners have brought the estate up to the very highest level in a region where superlatives are met and exceeded on a daily basis.
After visiting the splendid estate, follow your guide to the tasting room, where you will sample some of these exceptional wines from the estate. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. You will be granted special access to the owners' private cellars, where you will see many wonderful wine treasures.
