Your journey begins as you depart the ship and board a 4x4 vehicle, heading north along National Road 3 toward the Carbajal Valley. Along the way, you’ll pause to admire sweeping views of the valley before venturing off-road for approximately 45 minutes of rugged wilderness travel. This portion of the tour is a true adventure, with your experienced driver navigating trails that lead to stunning vantage points rarely seen by visitors.
Next, enjoy a guided 1 hour walk through the woods, where you’ll learn about the native flora and fauna of the region. From there, you’ll board a bus to continue to a cozy mountain refuge. Here, you’ll be welcomed with a light snack or picnic lunch, a chance to relax and take in the surrounding scenery.
The return journey brings you back along Ushuaia Bay. A short detour to Long Beach offers a magnificent panoramic view of the city, framed by mountains and sea.
Important notes:
The tour group will be divided into two, with half beginning with the bus ride and half with the 4x4 adventure. This means some participants will experience the itinerary in reverse order, with the mountain refuge serving as the midpoint. The tour does not operate on holidays.
