Set out by 4x4 vehicle from Ushuaia, heading north along National Road 3 to the Carbajal Valley.
Stop to take in the vast view before you head off-road for 45 minutes of off-road wilderness travel. This is a genuine adventure, and your experienced driver will take you to some very beautiful vantage points.
You'll also take a 20-minute walk through the woods where you’ll end at the mountain refuge for a snack.
Next, take a little detour to Long Beach, where you can take in the magnificent panoramic views of the city.
Please notes:
The tour group will be split in two, with half of the participants taking the bus ride first and half taking the 4x4 vehicle, meaning that some participants will essentially do the tour in reverse order. The mountain refuge is the halfway/swap-over point. Minimum age is 10 years. It is essential that you wear warm, layered clothing to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion; outer layer should be waterproof and windproof. Bring gloves, a warm hat and a scarf. Tour does not operate on holidays.
