Explore surprising Valparaíso, from the hilly Old Town to the thriving, modern downtown and all the way to the fashionable resort of Viña del Mar.
In 'Valpo' as it is known to the locals, you will see Plaza Sotomayor, dominated by the Naval Headquarters building and the impressive monument to the Heroes of Iquique.
Drive through the center of town and head north to Viña del Mar to see the resort's best-known landmark -- the famous floral clock. You will stop briefly to admire the exterior of the impressive casino, built in the 1930s, renovated in 2003, and set in beautiful gardens.
A visit to the Fonck Museum is also included, where you will be able to view an extensive and interesting collection of objects from Easter Island and the Chilean mainland, including a fine exhibit of Mapuche native silver.
Your tour then continues to the Casablanca Valley where you will have the chance to visit Puro Caballo -- a typical Chilean horse stable. Here you will be introduced to the huaso (cowboy) traditions of Chile. First, learn about the Chilean horse, a pure breed able to do things that no other horse in the world can do due to its special morphology. Then, while enjoying a glass of wine or a Pisco Sour, witness an equestrian exhibition of the skills of the man-horse "duet" in the national sport -- the Chilean rodeo.
A delicious lunch awaits you at a local restaurant -- a taste of typical Chilean dishes such as plateada al horno (meat baked in an adobe oven).
You will transfer to Santiago Airport in time for your flight.

This tour is available to only guests whose cruise ends in Santiago. It will accommodate those transferring to the airport, with flights departing after 9pm. Those staying overnight in Santiago can opt for a drop-off at a hotel booked through Seabourn at an extra cost.
