This laid-back adventure starts with a scenic cruise around both Huahine-nui and Huahine-iti.
Your friendly guide will share the history and legends of French Polynesia while demonstrating the art of making coconut leaf trays. Remember to take your camera as this relaxing, short lagoon cruise is an ideal way to view the lush vegetation, azure waters and sandy coastline of Huahine.
Head across Maroe Bay to peaceful Motu Muri Mahora, where you will have plenty of time to relax on the secluded beach, swim and enjoy a demonstration of how to tie a traditional pareo (sarong).
Your welcoming hosts will set up a Polynesian-style picnic on a table set up in the clear, shallow waters. Savor this delicious meal before heading back across the bay to your ship.
Please note:
Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, reef-safe/biodegradable sunscreen, light clothing to act as a full cover-up for further protection from the sun, and a hat. Swim at your own risk. Bring bottled water.
