Pre-Cruise Itinerary Overview

Day 1:  Welcome to Buenos Aires! Transfer from airport to your hotel, Alvear Palace. (or similar) Spend the afternoon at your leisure and enjoy dinner with us.

Day 2: Fly to Iguazu Falls where you will take the Argentinian Falls Tour.  Your tour of Argentina Falls include the observation point - The Devil's Throat - and the ecological jungle train or the Upper and Lower trails (Itineraries subject to change). Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.and the afternoon is yours to spend at your leisure. Join us for dinner and stay overnight at Gran Meliá Iguazú. (or similar)

Day 3: After breakfast, take the Brazilian Falls Tour which includes experiencing a catwalk that leads close to the bottom of the Devil's Throat. Lunch will be at a local restaurant and then enjoy the Macuco Safari Boat Tour in the afternoon. Join us for dinner and stay overnight at Gran Meliá Iguazú. (or similar)

Day 4: After breakfast, transfer to airport for your return flight back and transfer to your Buenos Aires Hotel.

Important Notice:

Due to the popularity of this tour and strict booking conditions, cancellations fees start 75 days prior to the call start date in Buenos Aires. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for guests with mobility limitations. Extensive walking involved at Iguazu Falls. Bring your reciprocity papers, passport, light rainwear and insect repellent. Be prepared for crowding at the site. Mist from the falls will settle on your clothing and you will get wet; bring a waterproof raincoat and extra clothing. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tour operates subject to meeting a minimum number of participants. Important: It is each guest’s sole responsibility to obtain (before traveling) any visas, vaccinations and/or tourist cards that are required for participating in overland adventures or overnight tours, unless noted otherwise in the description.  Please be aware that you may need a visa for any and/or all countries that you will depart from and travel through as part of your overland adventure or overnight tour, and for the country in which you will join the ship. Luggage restrictions are as dictated by the airlines- 1 piece of 8kg (18lb) and 1 personal item + Checked luggage allowance is 15kg (33lb). Guests may leave extra luggage for their expedition cruise that they don't want to take to Iguazu with the hotel in Buenos Aires and it will be held until and guests return back to Buenos Aires to depart for their cruise.
