Join the Expedition team ashore to wander through the settlement of Battle Harbour. Learn of its colorful history, centered on the cod-fishing industry, and of the handful of inhabitants who currently operate Battle Harbour's seasonal hospitality sector. Charming and pretty, this summer fishing station in no way lives up to its name. In fact, the sense of peace is almost tangible here, beautifully encapsulated in idyllic scenery and white clapboard homes with jaunty red roofs.
