Nachvak Fjord bisects Torngat Mountains National Park in the Labrador region. It is flanked by steep cliffs, inky waters, and the ice-cold welcome of a glacier-shaped landscape.
Join the Expedition team on a scenic Zodiac ride across stunning Nachvak Fjord; then, step ashore to appreciate the area's wildlife, its fragile flora, and its incredible geological features carved by ice over millennia.
The Expedition team keeps an eye out for marine mammals from the Zodiacs, and for polar bears and caribou pacing the shoreline beneath the pristine and rugged wilderness of the Torngat Mountains.
Please note: Included Expeditions cannot be booked in advance. The ship's Expedition team will communicate finalized content and departure information. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed. Wear sturdy non-skid walking shoes.
