After a traditional Lombok welcome dance, board s motorcoach for a full day exploring the beaches and islands of Lombok.
Your first destination is Senggigi -- Lombok's oldest and most famous resort area, dotted with white sandy beaches, trendy bars, restaurants, cafés and souvenir shops. You'll spy cultivated lowlands, rice terraces and fruit, nut and spice plantations. Pause at a resort for coffee, tea and snacks while taking in the views of the fishing boats resting on the beach.
Take photos along the coastline; then, hop into a small boat from Kode Bay and head to Gili Trawangan, the busiest of the three tiny islands renowned for its laidback lifestyle. The Gili Islands are an archipelago of three small islands known for their clear waters, white-sand beaches and world-class snorkeling. Coconut farms, small villages, and sparkling coastline greet you ashore. Feel free to stroll, swim in the sea, or simply relax. A short cidomo ride (a traditional horse cart) around the village and a traditional Indonesian buffet lunch are on offer.
Your tour concludes with a visit to Banyu Mulek village, known throughout the international art world for producing enormous, elaborately-decorated pots. Skilled artisans process clay into beautiful export-quality pottery. Browse in the gift shop before you head back to Lembar by boat.
