Board a motorcoach and explore eastern Miyako Island. Begin with a photo stop at beautiful Higashi Henna Cape, designated as a National Historic, Scenic and Natural Monument and is one of the most breathtaking spots in all of Okinawa. Take in the picture-perfect vistas and lilies that bloom in the early spring.
Ride on a semi-submersible vessel, the Sea-Sky Hakuai, to observe the underwater world of the island, where the seawater is extremely clear. Enjoy the island's natural beauty and bounty.
Head to Maehama Beach. Stretching out for 4½ miles, this is one of Japan's favorite beaches, and the contrast of the white sand and the emerald-green water is truly beautiful.
Savor lunch at a local restaurant and conclude with a stop at the Miyakojima City Traditional Crafts Center, where you will learn about traditional high-quality hemp cloth called Miyakojima jofu.
Transfer back to the ship after your tour.
