Begin your day with a scenic ferry ride across the Hauraki Gulf to Waiheke Island — a haven of natural beauty, award-winning vineyards, and relaxed island hospitality.
Upon arrival, meet your local island guide, who will accompany you throughout the day and share insights into Waiheke's history, people, and produce as you travel between vineyards with countryside views.
Start your experience with a wine tasting at a beautifully situated vineyard, offering spectacular views across the Waitemata Harbour to Auckland City. Sample a selection of Waiheke-grown wines, from crisp whites to rich reds.
Lunch follows at a charming island vineyard restaurant, where you'll enjoy a seasonal, locally inspired meal. Surrounded by olive trees and rolling vines, this tranquil setting is ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine and taking in the scenery.
Your final stop is at The Heke — a contemporary distillery and brewery nestled on four acres of landscaped grounds. Here, you'll sample two premium single malt whiskies (each aged at least five years), a new-make spirit, and a refreshing house lager — a perfect end to a flavorful day.
Return to Auckland by ferry, or if you wish to continue exploring, you are welcome to remain on the island and return later at your leisure on a scheduled service.

Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Wear comfortable walking shoes. The ferry ride to and from Waiheke Island is unguided and is not exclusive to Seabourn guests. The walk between the ferry terminal and the ship is approximately 300 yards each way. Tour duration may vary as it is based on the Waiheke Island commercial ferry schedule.
