Go beyond the ordinary with a hike to La Soufrière Volcano. The volcano is an active and imposing natural wonder. Here you will have an unforgettable day experiencing the volcano up close.
Led by a professional mountain guide, you'll begin your hike at the Bains Jaunes (Yellow Baths) – a naturally warm mineral bath. Embark on a strenuous hike through tropical forests, then rocky mountainside, ending up at the summit of the volcano at 4,813 feet.
At the summit, discover a seemingly alien environment, where the strong smell of sulfur and the sound of deep rumbling will remind you that this volcano is indeed active.
After your hike, enjoy a well-earned lunch at a nearby picnic area before heading back to the pier.
Please Note: Wear comfortable walking shoes and a water-repellent jacket. Participants must be in good physical condition. Tour operates weather permitting. Minimum age is 12 years.
