Your quest begins with a scenic drive to the port of Agios Sostis, where you’ll board a boat and set out across the Bay of Laganas. Take in the views and the fresh salt air as your skipper navigates to the marine park that is home to seven different nesting beaches for loggerhead (Caretta caretta) turtles.
A local guide provides fascinating insights into the lives of these amazing creatures, their breeding habits, and the threats they have long faced.
Anchor up for a swim in these inviting waters -- you might be lucky enough to spot a turtle swimming about.
