A scenic speedboat ride across the beautiful Bay of Kotor brings you to the island of Our Lady of the Rocks. This iconic church and its small museum entice you inside to explore both the architecture and the legend behind the island.
Head to Risan Bay — famed for the rather unusual Underwater Wine Experience. Here, innovation and tradition meld beautifully, as fine wines are aged beneath the sea. The constant temperature, gentle current, and complete darkness cause the wine to mature faster and develop a smooth, refined character — a whole new twist on terroir. Your host will retrieve some bottles directly from the seawater, and you'll evaluate the results for yourself, tasting wines nurtured by the Adriatic Sea and paired with local seafood delicacies.
Relax on the boat ride back to Kotor with a newfound appreciation for Balkan innovation.
Please note: This tour involves light to moderate walking over a variety of surfaces, including even and uneven terrain, cobblestones, gravel, inclines, and steps. Shade is limited, so we recommend wearing light, long clothing suitable as a cover-up, along with a hat, sunglasses, and biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Guests are advised to bring bottled water and a light jacket or windbreaker, as it may be breezy on the water. Guests prone to motion sickness should consider this before booking and take appropriate precautions if needed. Appropriate attire is required for visiting the church on the island; shoulders and knees must be covered. Guests who wish to enter the water from the underwater raft should wear swimwear underneath their clothing in advance. Please note that payment on the underwater raft is accepted in cash only (euros). The included wine tasting features seafood (shrimp and mussels). Guests with dietary restrictions or allergies are kindly advised to inform us in advance whenever possible.
