Join this exhilarating helicopter flight that combines panoramas of the beautiful areas around Bergen and the Folgefonna Glacier just next to the Hardangerfjord.
Take in a bird's-eye view over Mt. Ulriken and Mt. Floyen. Fly over the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bryggen, as well as the archipelago outside of Bergen. Further on, fly over the Hardangerfjord -- the Queen of the Fjords -- which is 179 km long, 900 meters at its greatest depth and is the 3rd longest fjord in the world. It is a well-known destination with its deep valleys, waterfalls, quaint villages and fruit farms.
Continuing on, you will witness the Folgefanna Glacier, Norway’s third largest glacier, with the highest point 1,651 m above sea level.
Please note: This excursion is not recommended for guests with physical/walking disabilities or who suffer from motion sickness and/or vertigo, nor guests who have a fear of heights and enclosed spaces. The flight is weather-dependent and can be canceled at short notice. It is recommended that guests dress in layered clothing and wear flat, comfortable shoes. Due to flight weight restrictions, guests must register their body weight and seats will be assigned according to weight in order to balance the helicopter for safety reasons. Flight time is approximately 1 hour.
