This unforgettable coastal adventure in Kristiansand starts with crabs at the heart of a story about tradition and sustainability.
Take a low-speed scenic cruise by rigid inflatable (RIB) boat past Kristiansand's fishing pier; then, your skipper opens the throttle to 40 knots en route to a traditional crab-fishing area. Watch the centuries-old process of hauling in crab pots, and you can even handle the crabs yourself if you wish.
Along the way, learn about local history, sustainable fishing practices, and the geological wonders of this stunning region.
Walk with your guide to a local restaurant to taste the famous crab meat before returning to the ship.
Please note: Life jackets are provided and must be worn. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Terrain includes a marine ramp from the pier to the boat, which can be very steep at low tide.
