Experience the pristine winter landscape of Lofoten on this adventurous snowshoe trek to a mountain top overlooking the beautiful peaks of the archipelago and the frozen coastline.
Just a short distance away, you will begin your trek through the winter wilderness. Follow some animal tracks and learn about the creatures that you might be lucky to encounter, while your guide also shares stories about life during the winter months in Lofoten. Reaching a viewpoint, you will have an amazing impression of the Lofoten islands with its jagged mountains, ice covered lakes and peaceful surroundings.
Please note: It is recommended to dress in warm, layered clothing and wear sturdy, waterproof winter boots. The location and distance will be chosen based on the snow conditions and weather that day. This tour involves snowshoeing up to 8 km and distance is dependent on the ability of the group. The trails consist of mostly gradual slopes, but you may encounter some steeper slopes due to snowfall. The highest point is 367 moh.
