Belgians are renowned for their production of exquisite chocolate. This fun and fascinating outing is ideal for those who have never tried Belgian chocolate before, as well as for those who have already tried it and wish to expand their knowledge of this delicious confectionery. In fact, any excuse to participate is perfectly acceptable.
The highlight of your tour is a hands-on chocolate workshop led by a professional Belgian chocolate maker. The chocolatier will tell you everything about the composition of chocolate and pralines. During this extensive training session, ask questions, sample different varieties, and learn how to craft authentic Belgian chocolates. The best part? All the pralines you make during the workshop are yours to take home.
At the end of the workshop, you have 1.5 hours of free time to visit the chocolate museum, purchase lunch or explore Bruges a little further on your own.
Please note: Terrain includes cobblestones and many steps when visiting the lower floor of the chocolate museum, as there is no elevator. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water. Tour does not operate on holidays. Use of an audio headset (included) will enhance your tour experience.
