Discover the very best of Ushuaia with this unforgettable journey that combines both land and sea.
After disembarking at the Ushuaia Port, you will board a comfortable coach for a scenic transfer to Tierra del Fuego National Park. Here, you’ll step aboard the legendary “End of the World Train” following the historic route once used by Ushuaia’s prisoners. As the train winds through forests, rivers, and mountains, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views and a short stop at Macarena Cascade before continuing your journey.
At the end of the train ride, your coach will take you deeper into the park until you reach Lapataia Bay, the southernmost point of the Pan American Highway. This dramatic location offers a unique sense of standing at the end of the world, with time to take in the scenery and capture memorable photos.
From Lapataia Bay, you’ll board a modern catamaran for a cruise along the Beagle Channel. As you sail, you’ll pass Bird Island and Sea Lion Island, both teeming with Patagonian wildlife, before admiring the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, a symbol of Ushuaia.
The adventure concludes with a return to the city by sea, offering panoramic views of Ushuaia framed by the majestic Andes Mountains—a perfect finale to your Ultimate Ushuaia Experience.
Tour Notes: For operational reasons, the order of activities may vary. Depending on group size, some guests may begin with the catamaran cruise while others start with the coach and train. Groups will exchange activities at Lapataia Bay. This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility challenges, as steps must be negotiated when boarding both the train and the catamaran. Motorized scooters are not permitted on this tour.
