Adelaide combines exceptional art, attractions and wine tasting, and this half-day outing allows you to experience all three.
At the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, enjoy an hour to explore at your own pace. The diversity of Australian plants here includes original tree plantings more than 150 years old. Wander beneath towering Moreton Bay figs and explore the Palm House (1877) -- one of the last of its kind remaining in the world. Check out the collection of plants from Madagascar. View lowland rainforest plants in the 1988 Bicentennial Conservatory -- the largest single-span glasshouse in the Southern Hemisphere.
Visit the South Australia Museum to learn about Aboriginal history and culture. Founded in 1856, it displays the world's largest collection of Aboriginal artifacts in an exciting, contemporary context.
The National Wine Centre of Australia showcases the Australian wine industry through eye-catching architecture and smooth functionality. Through the interactive Wine Discovery Journey, you can experience the winemaking process from the vine to the bottle and sample from a range of 120 different Australian wines. These wines are dispensed from state-of-the-art Enomatic servers, which keep them in optimum condition, ready for you to enjoy and appreciate.
