Indulge in a private luxury sailing experience along the breathtaking coastline of Catalina Island as you cruise aboard a 38-foot sailboat. Led by your experienced skipper, the journey takes you through Descanso Bay and Hamilton Cove, offering panoramic views and ample photo opportunities as you sail the azure waters of Southern California.
Explore the intricate geological features of Catalina at Gallagher Cove, pass by Frog Rock in the hopes of spotting sea lions and dolphins, and marvel at the nesting sites of majestic great blue herons. As you traverse Toyon Bay and Willow Cove, you'll witness sea caves, kelp-covered underwater reefs, and the captivating world beneath the waves.
Proceed to Catalina's largest natural sandy beach at Moonstone Cove and White's Landing and view the geological wonder of Long Point, where the unique Keyhole Cave mimics the silhouette of Catalina Island. Among the reefs here, sea lions and pelicans engage in their hunting rituals.
Next, have a chance to spot bald eagles flying above the rugged canyons and hidden inlets of Catalina's Protected Marine Area.
The return journey to Avalon Harbor is typically downwind, offering you the chance to capture photos from the helm or unwind on the foredeck. Be on the lookout for playful dolphin pods or the majestic presence of migrating whales.
Along the way, indulge in an onboard snack featuring a delightful charcuterie spread, fresh fruit, and cookies. Pair these treats with a selection of wine, beer, seltzer, juice boxes, sodas, and water.
