Welcome to Cooktown, where the vibrant local culture, stunning landscapes, and the charm of this coastal town create a well-rounded exploration of heritage and natural beauty. Today’s tour will be by van and by foot as you explore a town ripe for discovery.
Your guide offers an insight into the history of Cooktown before you explore the Nature's Powerhouse Visitor Center. This living museum is a magnificent showcase for the plants of Cape York Peninsula.
Then, enjoy as much free time as you like to explore the Botanic Gardens.
Finally, take a designated shuttle to the Cooktown Historical Museum.
