A scenic drive takes you straight to the North Coast for a beach walk at Stokes Bay. This lovely beach is a best-kept secret on the spectacular northern coastline. Your guides know the best places here to find endemic wildlife. Keep an eye out for the Tammar wallaby, the Kangaroo Island kangaroo, and many koalas.
Lunch is served in a fun environment -- a historic shearing shed on a working farm. This land is part of one of the original Soldier Settler Farms. The chef, who has been busy preparing a gourmet lunch showcasing the best of Kangaroo Island's produce, greets you with a warm welcome. Hear the story behind the produce so you feel a connection to this special foodie destination. Enjoy a wonderful meal accompanied by premium Kangaroo Island wine.
At Seal Bay, walk off your indulgent lunch with a stroll out to view the endangered Australian sea lion -- the "dogs of the sea." It is quite rewarding to observe these special animals in their prime habitat.
From here, head back towards Penneshaw, with a brief stop at Pennington Bay (time permitting).
