SEATTLE, Jan. 7, 2026 – Seabourn’s 2026 World Cruise departed Long Beach, Calif., on January 6 aboard Seabourn Sojourn, beginning a 129-day voyage that will visit 63 destinations across 14 countries. The sailing marked the start of months of exploration at sea, bringing together travelers embarking on one of Seabourn’s most distinctive and immersive voyages.
On the eve of departure, World Cruise guests gathered for an exclusive Hollywood orchestral evening created especially for Seabourn. Presented on the iconic Newman Scoring Stage at the Fox Studios lot and produced by eight-time Grammy and Emmy Award recipient Gregg Field, the performance celebrated some of cinema’s most beloved scores, featuring works by acclaimed composers including John Williams, Henry Mancini, Hans Zimmer and James Horner.
The evening included special appearances by actor Michael Nouri, and two-time Grammy-nominated singer Monica Mancini and musician Dave Koz, who performed with the Hollywood Studio Orchestra conducted by Academy Award and Kennedy Center Honors Music Director Chris Walden. Earlier, guests gathered for a Seabourn-hosted dinner at Spago Beverly Hills, the flagship restaurant of renowned chef Wolfgang Puck, alongside Seabourn President Mark Tamis and members of the leadership team.
On departure day, Seabourn President Mark Tamis and Seabourn Sojourn’s senior officers welcomed guests as they boarded the ship in Long Beach, marking the start of the World Cruise.
“Our 2026 World Cruise is one of the most meaningful journeys we offer,” said Tamis. “It brings together everything our guests value, such as time and access to explore the world in depth, paired with personalized service and a relaxed sense of luxury. From the moments we share before departure to the experiences that unfold along the way, this voyage is about connection to the destinations we explore, the cultures we encounter, and to one another.”
