This guided eco e-bike ride offers the perfect blend of coastal scenery, heritage landmarks, and local culture. Set out from the vibrant waterfront district of Cow Bay with the ease of an e-bike.
Once a commercial fishing hub, Cow Bay is now known for its colorful shops, welcoming cafés, and maritime atmosphere.
Ride along the waterfront to Waterfront Observation Park — your first scenic photo stop. The park surrounds the historic Kwinitsa Railway Station — once the terminus of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. Now a museum, this waterfront station offers insight into how the railway helped shape the development of Prince Rupert.
Pass the Pillsbury House — a beautifully preserved early 20th-century heritage home, followed by a photo stop at the Sunken Gardens.
Continue along to the courthouse and wrap around Cow Bay to the Rushbrook Marina. A scenic photo stop here offers a 25-minute round-trip leisurely walk along the Rushbrook Trail.
Your bike ride ends back at the pier.
Please note: Tour sequence may vary. Participants must know how to ride a bike and are required to complete a skill set test ride. Minimum age is 16 years. Minimum height is 5'0"; maximum height is 6'4". Minimum weight is 120 lbs; maximum weight is 240 lbs. Helmets are provided and must be worn. Wear high-visibility athletic clothing. Total distance covered is approximately three miles with breaks along the way.
