Join a Zodiac cruise along the shoreline of jewel-like Evighedsfjorden — Eternity Fjord. Let the Expedition team show you where the Maniitsoq Ice Cap meets the sea, feeding the tidewater glaciers that, in turn, crack and calve, pushing icebergs large and small into the surrounding sapphire waters. Your silent companions, these same icebergs, drift inexorably down the fjord and into the open sea, where they cool Baffin Bay and the Labrador Sea, and provide a platform for seals to haul out and tend their vulnerable young.
