View Seoul from the comfort of a motor coach, beginning with an 80-minute drive from the pier at Incheon to South Korea’s capital city. Enjoy some time to stroll around at the Gyeongbok Palace, built in 1394 as the main palace of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910). This is the largest and grandest of the five palaces dating from that period. Then proceed to Namsangol Hanok Village. It features restored hanok (traditional Korean houses) from the Joseon Dynasty, offering visitors a glimpse into how people lived during that time. The village also hosts cultural programs, traditional games, and seasonal events that showcase Korean heritage. After lunch, you will stop at Insa-dong Street. This area is one of the most memorable attractions in Seoul and is undoubtedly the focal point of traditional Korean culture and crafts. Stores in Insa-dong specialize in a wide variety of goods that can only be purchased or appreciated in Korea—hanbok (traditional clothing), hanji (traditional paper), traditional teas, pottery, and folk crafts. Then it’s time to return to the ship at Incheon, approx. 100 minutes away
Please note: Minimum age is 8 years. Gyeongbok Palace closed on Tuesdays or holidays. When it closed, it will be replaced to Deoksu Palace.
