Ascend to the top of the Cape Range and take in the rugged ridges of Charles Knife Gorge, along with sweeping views across Exmouth Gulf. Enjoy a short detour through the town of Exmouth, where you’ll hear the stories behind the names of some of the streets and landmarks in this relaxed coastal town of around 2,500 people.
Along the way, you’ll see the SS Mildura wreck and learn about its connection to the history of Exmouth and the region. Make a brief stop at Bundegi Beach and keep an eye out—you may even spot one of Ningaloo’s resident turtles.
Explore the Jurabi Turtle Centre and take a closer look at the life cycle of Ningaloo’s endangered sea turtles. Then, with a light refreshment in hand, relive the history of North West Cape from the panoramic vantage point of Lighthouse Hill before returning to the ship.
