Enjoy a very personal and intimate experience hosted by the Thrysøe family as you visit to both the winery and the beautiful vineyards.
Welcomed with a glass of the 2020 award-winning local ‘Champagne’ bubbly, hear stories from members of the family who will provide insight into Danish wine making and how they are challenging countries like France, Portugal and Italy when it comes to future wine production. Learn about how they do everything by hand in order to create a more sustainable and organic wine.
The family invites you to experience the vineyards and to browse the family shop where wine, pickled wine shoots and local produce can be purchased.
Meet on the terrace, wonderfully situated above the winery where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and company of your hosts, whilst indulging in locally produced small dishes accompanied by 3 of the award-winning wines of the Thrysøe Vineyard.
Bid your hosts "farvel" before sitting back to relax and enjoy the journey back to beautiful Aalborg.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Walking the vineyard is optional but it is recommended to dress in layers for the weather. Minimum age 18 years.
