This tour is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and those looking for a memorable coastal experience in one of South Australia's most beautiful seaside towns.
From the picturesque Lake Butler Marina in Robe, hop aboard a boat for a coastal cruise along the stunning stretch of Long Beach, offering breathtaking views and the opportunity to spot local marine life.
Cruise out to Godfrey Island — affectionately known by locals as Baudin Rocks — where you'll encounter Australian sea lions and long-nosed fur seals lollygagging on the rocks or playfully splashing in the shallows. Curious and social, these marine mammals often swim right up to the boat to greet curious sailors.
Keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins, frequently seen gliding through the waves. The area is also home to an array of seabirds, including gannets and cormorants, providing great year-round birdwatching opportunities.
Don't miss a perfect waterside photo opportunity at Robe's iconic obelisk, standing proudly against the coastal cliffs.
Please note:
Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Terrain includes a marine ramp from the pier to the boat, which can be very steep at low tide, and ten high steps to enter the vessel.
