This half-day tour explores the history and the natural wonders of Trinidad.
You'll head to St Joseph — the oldest town in Trinidad and Tobago — to visit the Catholic church of the same name. This was one of the earliest buildings constructed in the town in 1815. Stroll about the TownSquare before hopping back on the coach.
A scenic one-hour drive brings you to the Maracas Valley. Leave the coach for a 45-minute nature walk to the magnificent 300-foot-tall Maracas Waterfall in the upper part of the valley.
Refresh yourself with a bottle of cold water before you hike back down to the starting point and return to the pier.
Please note: Minimum age is 5 years. This active excursion is suitable only for participants in excellent physical condition. Wear non-skid walking shoes. Terrain includes even and uneven surfaces, inclines, gravel, grass, rocks and roots. The rocks surrounding the falls are slippery. Jumping from the falls is not permitted. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses; wear biodegradable/reef-safe sunscreen. Bring bottled water.
