Start the tour departing towards Las Canteras Beach and enjoy some minutes to take some photos.
After a stop we will proceed to enjoy a beautiful landscape, we will drive towards to the place where Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was born. Located in the south of the capital of Gran Canaria, Vegueta became the foundational nucleus of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria at the end of the 15th century. In its squares there are historic buildings such as the Casa de Colón, the Santa Ana Cathedral, the Canarian Museum, the Literary Cabinet, the Town Hall, and the Atlantic Center of Modern Art. The wide commercial offer of the old quarter of the city extends next to the Market, built in 1856, and along the commercial street of Triana. A neighborhood to enjoy culture and leisure. Next to the old bed of the Guiniguada ravine, in front of the Pérez Galdós Theater – which bears the name of an illustrious son of Vegueta –, there is a wide range of urban walks through cobblestone streets and picturesque corners. The visitor can enjoy excursions with a deep historical flavor through a journey through artistic styles such as late Gothic and Renaissance. Once done a guided walking tour we will proceed to enjoy a tapas dinner before driving back to the ship.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes.
