Your tour starts with a short panoramic drive through Karlskrona, passing the city's most important sights and taking in the astounding views from the Bryggareberget Viewpoint.
Continue with a guided walk at idyllic Brändaholm. Here you will see typical Swedish allotment cottages with beautiful adjoining gardens, created in the 1920s and still one of the most photographed places in Sweden.
After Brändaholm, enjoy a 35-minute countryside drive to the picturesque hamlet of Kristianopel, founded in the 1600s by the Danes and considered to be the earliest Renaissance town in the Nordic region. With its defensive wall, old houses, beautiful gardens, and narrow streets, Kristianopel is a hidden gem, and together with its cafés and a picturesque harbor area, it offers an extraordinary visit. Follow your guide on a walk through the village, with free time to enjoy on your own as well.
On your way to the beautiful old fishing village of Torhamn, the coastal road passes fields of asparagus and lavender. Watch for seals lollygagging on the shoreline. Pause for photos in Torhamn and learn about the Russian Submarine U137, which ran aground just a few nautical miles from here in 1981.
