Your adventure begins when you walk up the gangway of the comfortable air-conditioned "6X6 Monster Bus" all-terrain vehicle with wide panoramic windows.
Head west, passing small towns, down along a winding road near the Banano River, taking in majestic views at lookout points.
Stop along the way, to enjoy Costa Rican snacks of casaba and plantain chips accompanied by soft drinks and bottled water.
Next, set off on an easy stroll with your naturalist guide for a chance to see poison dart frogs, monkeys and local birds.
Following your stroll, travel to a completely different environment, passing small creeks and areas to arrive at a small valley with a banana plantation, a great opportunity to learn about this important crop.
Travel back to the pier along the scenic road.
