On the pier, you’ll meet Estonian guide, freedom fighter who takes you back in 1991-1992 when Estonia become independent.
In the Soviet bus, the guide is mocking Soviet time, making absurd Soviet propaganda, talking about the Soviet leaders, and of course offering vodka shots with pickles. The guide is focusing on his/her personal stories: how people lived and become free 30 years ago, how was Soviet life, transition period and what was the whole situation in USSR. Guests learn more about Estonia in the style of histotainment/edutainment.
Of course, there will be picnic where sausage rolls, beverage, mustard, and vodka near the seashore. The guide is in the mood of nineties now who learn new life but still have funny Soviet background when they see capitalists coming to their bus.
Please note: Guests who wish to stay in the Old Town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship. Limited space available for this excursion.
