From the pier – you are transferred to Papeete ferry pier to board a speed catamaran for a short crossing to Tahiti’s sister island, Moorea.
Upon arrival in Moorea – you are met and board an a/c motor coach with an English-speaking knowledgeable guide for a spectacular sightseeing tour of this beautiful island.
Highlight stops include the Ia Ora lookout point, Cooks Bay, Opunohu Bay and at Papetoai pier, the first & the oldest Protestant Church in the South Pacific. Board motorized covered catamarans for a cruise through the lagoon to a natural shallow sand bank for a snorkeling stop. Your local guides will attract stingrays for interaction with these gentle sea creatures.
A short cruise away is a private spot on “motu” (islet) where you have free time to explore, swim, snorkel around the turquoise lagoon or simply relax in the shaded tree area to enjoy the spectacular views of turquoise lagoon and mountains of Moorea.
A delicious BBQ buffet lunch will be served while the local island musical trio will entertain you with the sounds of the South Pacific. After lunch the local crew will entertain you with a ‘coco’ show.
After reboarding the catamarans and a slow cruise back to the main island to rejoin waiting motor coaches, you shall visit the balance of the island back to the ferry terminal. A speed catamaran cruise will bring you back to Papeete where waiting motorcoaches will transfer you back to your ship.
