Experience the vibrant history of Alaska's logging legacy at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. Just a brief stroll from the pier, immerse yourself in a bygone era where the tales of Alaska's frontier unfold and skilled lumberjacks showcase their impressive abilities.
Marvel as world-champion athletes go head-to-head in activities such as springboard chopping, buck sawing, axe throwing, log rolling, and a thrilling 50-foot tree climb.
Capture memories with the lumberjacks during a post-show photo session and take part in some activities of your own. The excitement continues as you participate in a heart-pounding axe-throwing competition, try your hand at hurling a seven-pound razor-sharp axe, and, after a bit of practice, go head-to-head in a thrilling competition against fellow participants.
Guests wishing to stay in town to shop or explore independently are welcome to do so, but must make their own way back to the ship.
Please note: Minimum age is 10 years. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Guest must be able-bodied and have full use of their arms. Wear closed-toe shoes (mandatory). The axe-throwing area is lined with mulch and has three steps down to the area. Tour sequence may vary. Guests not wishing to participate in the axe-throwing competition should purchase KTN300 The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show for the same departure time.
