Between the Serrania de Ronda in Malaga and the Mediterranean, we can find the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park. This mountain houses deep ravines and spectacular cliffs like the one of Caina, with more than 325-foot drop.
Climb aboard a 4x4 vehicle driven by your local guide, set off on an off the beaten path adventure.
Learn about local flora & fauna as you wind through olive orchards, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy some amazing sights.
There is an enormous and ancient chestnut tree specimen located in the area called Hoyo del Bote that is probably the oldest tree in the whole of the Sierra de las Nieves, estimated to be between 800-1,000 years old.
Enjoy guided walking tours of the quaint local villages of Ojen and Istan. Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of animals that call the park home including protected species, such as the golden eagle, the wildcat, and the otter. The park also includes an impressive fir forest, a tree species that you will only see in the Southern Peninsula and Northern Morocco.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Ride will be bumpy. Guests with back or neck conditions are not allowed to participate. Wear sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring a hat. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
