Embark on a Zodiac cruise around the remote and historic Rose Island, a rugged island within Torngat Mountains National Park. This striking landscape has been inhabited for more than 5,000 years, leaving behind archaeological traces of Inuit life, including tent rings, sod houses, and burial cairns that speak to a deep spiritual connection with the land.
From the Zodiacs, your Expedition Team will interpret the island’s cultural and historical significance while you scan the waters for marine mammals and migratory seabirds. The combination of pristine wilderness, rich heritage, and abundant wildlife makes Rose Island a compelling window into the enduring rhythms of Arctic life.
Please note: Included Expeditions cannot be booked in advance. The ship's Expedition team will communicate finalized content and departure information. Dress warmly in layers with a windproof and waterproof outer layer; bring a warm hat, gloves and a scarf. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
