Here's an excursion to satisfy every palate. The Margaret River wine region covers the area between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin and east to Busselton. With more than 12,000 acres of vineyard, 200+ wineries easily and happily make their homes here.
From Busselton, enjoy a scenic coastal drive before heading inland into the Margaret River region. Taste some wines at Hay Shed Hill Winery (or similar) to familiarize yourself with the local terroir. This is one of Margaret River's founding wine estates, so your on-site guide offers considerable local knowledge.
Exquisite food is served for lunch, also at a local vineyard. A five-course tasting menu is paired with premier wines, handily bringing together all aspects of this fabulous Margaret River epicurean experience. Incredibly fresh local produce is the canvas that allows the chef to expound a distinctive philosophy around perfect food and wine pairing.
After lunch, reboard the coach and transfer back to the ship in Busselton — plenty of time to reflect on the beauty and bounty of the outstanding Margaret River region.
