David Gardner

David Gardner first joined the Royal Air Force as a photographer, then he went on to travel the world with the RAF. He later graduated from York University with a first-class honors BA and an MA in history and American studies. He then went on to teach history at college level for 20 years becoming a chief examiner in modern European and world history for the universities of London and Surrey.
 

David founded his own e-learning company in 1999 and was its managing director until December 2019. During this time David worked as a consultant to some of the world’s leading publishers, over the years David has operated in key areas of publishing, training and more recently in the assessment and management of learning and training.
 

David is the winner of several international multimedia awards including a Sony Silver Apple and a Cannes multi-media award for his work on the history of the First and Second World Wars. David is currently writing his first novel for publishers in Edinburgh, Scotland.
