Get behind the wheel and head off the beaten track on this rugged off-road Jeep® you-drive adventure through the wild landscapes of Prince of Wales Island. Follow your guide caravan-style as you navigate winding forest trails, gravel roads, and scenic ridgelines deep into the heart of the Tongass National Forest — North America's largest temperate rainforest.
Keep your eyes peeled for Alaska's incredible wildlife along the way. Black bears, Sitka black-tail deer, and eagles are commonly spotted in this untamed wilderness. Your guide will share insights into the area's natural history, ecosystem, and indigenous culture at scenic stops, giving you time to stretch your legs, take photos, and switch drivers if desired.

Please note: Minimum age is 6 years. Minimum age to drive is 25 years with a valid driver's license. Non-drivers are welcome. Jeeps are shared to accommodate up to four guests. Multiple stops allow guests to switch drivers. Waiver must be signed and medical conditions disclosed. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. Mobility devices (wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, etc) cannot be accommodated on the transportation. Boarding the Jeep requires a large step up. The route follows a remote dirt trail. Ride will be bumpy; guests who are pregnant and those with a back or neck condition are not allowed to participate. Guests prone to motion sickness should consider this before booking and/or take appropriate medication. Wildlife sightings are likely but are not guaranteed.
