Go beyond the ordinary with a thrilling adventure that takes you through nature’s wonders. From picturesque canyons to the incredible spectacle of salmon leaping upstream, this immersive encounter highlights the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Start today’s adventure with a scenic drive through Vancouver BC on your way to Stanley Park. Complete with commentary from your guide, this journey takes you through the city’s vibrant neighborhoods before you cross the majestic Lions Gate Bridge and are greeted by stunning views of the city’s skyline and coastal mountains.
When you arrive at Stanley Park, you’ll visit Vancouver’s famed Totem Poles, where you’ll see and hear stories of monumental, hand carved works of art that speak proudly of BC’s Indigenous cultures and mythology. You’ll also have time to marvel at city vistas and take a short guided walk.
Next, embark on a breathtaking drive from Stanley Park to the North Shore's Capilano River Canyon. Along the way, you’ll enjoy the commentary of your guide as you take a scenic route that unveils sweeping views of the north Shore Mountains, leading to the awe-inspiring canyon of the rushing Capilano River.
Upon arrival at Capilano River Canyon, take a nature walk with interpretive commentary and hear about Pacific Salmon’s essential role in the ecological makeup of the region. From April to October, you can view the different species of salmon that run the river to spawn. A 15-minute walk each way and you will see the awesomeness of the Cleveland Dam, supplying 1/3 or Vancouver’s water and some of the cleanest drinking water in the world.
Continue along for a scenic drive through North Vancouver as you make your way to the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge. Complete with commentary, this drive takes you through charming neighborhoods. Along the way, lunch bags will be handed out.
When you arrive at Lynn Canyon, you’ll cross the suspension bridge amid the lush forests of North Vancouver. Suspended 160 ft. above the rushing waters of Lynn Creek, the bridge provides a thrilling and scenic crossing, surrounded by towering trees and the natural beauty of Lynn Canyon Park. There will be plenty of amazing photo opportunities.
Afterward, you’ll take a beautiful drive with commentary on your way to Vancouver International Airport. Along the way, lunch bags will be handed out.
Please note: Participants must be capable of walking on gravel paths with some minor inclines as well as some uneven dirt trails for up to 15 minutes at a time. This tour is not wheelchair or walker accessible. It will accommodate those transferring to the airport, with flights departing after 3:30pm.
