This cruise will introduce you to the beautiful surroundings of Nuuk fjord. From a small but comfortable motorboat, you will have the perfect perspective to explore the fjord, which is the second-largest fjord system in the world. The captain will look for icebergs and other interesting features in the surroundings. Perhaps you will even see some wildlife in the form of birds, whales or seals. Enjoy a hot drink (coffee, tea, or a hot cocoa) while looking out over the water and taking in the scenery. Dress up warm, take your camera and binoculars along, and enjoy the peacefulness of this boat cruise in the evening light.
Please note: There is a walk from cruise terminal to where the local boat is moored (opposite cruise terminal about 5 minutes away). The captain and guide are local. The cabin is heated and there is a toilet onboard. For departures that are operated late in the day it will be timed so you can see the sun descending in the sky with hopefully spectacular light to photograph the mountains and icebergs of the fjord.
