A short transfer from the pier will take you to the airport of Ilulissat, where you will meet the pilot or guide, climb aboard the helicopter and have a safety briefing before taking to the skies.
Departing from the airport, you will start your adventure flying 60km inland where you will take in the grandeur of the Kangia Ice Fjord and Kujalleq Glacier, featuring stunning ice formations and crystal clear blue water.
After approx. 30 minutes in the air, you will reach your destination where your pilot will find a safe place to land and you will have the chance to hop out and explore. Enjoy 30 minutes to walk to the edge of the inland icecap. Bask in the silence of this magical place, enjoy the view and create your own memories of this vast landscape.
Following your exploration, reboard the helicopter for your 30 minute return flight, soaring over the ice fjord and out to the mouth where you will see the stranded icebergs before landing in Ilulissat again where your transfer will be waiting to bring you back to the pier.
