Depart the pier by motor coach (or by van, depending on the number of participants) and head to Promthep Cape, a headland stretching into the sea and forming the extreme south end of Phuket Island. Traditionally considered the prominent feature for mariners approaching the island, the cape offers a breathtaking panoramic vista.

Visit the impressively ornate Chalong Temple, the largest and most sacred of Phuket's 33 temples. Of particular interest are the gold-leaf-encrusted statues of three former abbots.

Your last stop is at the Big Buddha Temple, situated at the top of Nark Kerd Mountain and offering superb views of the surrounding area, including the azure waters of Chalong Bay. The newly built structure is an amazing 147 feet tall and sits on a base measuring 82 feet in diameter.

Please note: A van transfer is provided up the hill from the base station to the Big Buddha. There are 78 steps to reach the Big Buddha platform.
