Discover the 'other side' of Manila with this interesting tour that offers an up-close introduction to this sprawling mega-city.

You'll set out with your guide to Quiapo Church, best known as the home of the Black Nazarene. This is a miraculous image of Jesus Christ that was brought to the Philippines by the Spaniards during in 1700s. The Black Nazarene has hundreds of thousands of devotees from all over the country and every Friday, devotees head to Quiapo Church, as since the novena in honor of the Black Nazarene is held during the day.

From there, you'll walk towards the Quiapo Market -- a lively outdoor market which sells everything from fruit and snacks to handicrafts and clothing. You name it; you can buy it here.

The Santa Cruz Baroque church, built in the early 17th century, is located in Plaza Santa Cruz. The main feature of the plaza is the beautiful Carriedo Fountain, named after Don Francisco Carriedo y Peredo, Manila's greatest benefactor.

Enjoy a glimpse of glorious Old Manila as you walk through the streets of Escolta -- the premier business and commercial center in Manila during the Spanish and American periods. Watch for the old architectural gems that require little imagination in conjuring up the past.

The Binondo is known as the world's oldest Chinatown. Every sense is awakened here by the sight, sounds, textures and tastes of the fascinating Chinatown scene.

Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes.
