Departing from the port, you will enjoy a scenic 75-minute drive to Ine, a fishing village renowned for its traditional boathouses, known as funaya.
Upon arrival, take a guided stroll through the town. At the Edo-period funaya, the first floor serves as a boat garage while the second floor is used as living quarters, showcasing a lifestyle closely tied to the sea. You will have the opportunity to step inside one of these boathouses to see its unique construction up close. During the walk, admire the quiet seaside scenery of Ine, where around 230 funaya line the waterfront.
Next, board a private Ine Bay Sea Taxi (small sightseeing boat) for a 30-minute cruise. From the water, you can view the funaya up close and experience the village from a perspective different from the land.
After the cruise, return to the port.
