Ream National Park is a vast, untouched area that includes a mangrove forest, two islands, isolated beaches and off-shore coral reefs, many of which you get to experience on this scenic nature tour.
Your adventure begins with a picturesque drive to the national park, which was established in 1991, and is home to 155 species of birds, as well as macaques, herons and cranes. A photo stop at the Statue of Love and God Shiva Statue before reaching Ream National Park.
A short walk to the boat station. Enjoy a 20-minutes cruise along the mangrove canal. As you cruise along the mangrove forest, your guide will point out the storks that feed on the mudflats here, and you may also spot egrets, kingfishers, mouse deer (muntjac), pangolin (spiny anteaters), and sun bears.
Take a hike along the coast to the Prince island and its beach. Enjoy a short drive to visit Giant Tree before arriving at Ream Boutique Resort Beach. Here, a picnic lunch will be served. Relax on the white sandy beach or take a refreshing dip in the azure waters.
The excursion continues with a drive to Meditation Mountain (Phnom Samathik) considered a holy place where many villagers come to gather medicinal plants. They believe the mountain's plants are blessed by the ancient spirits that dwell there, which gives them extraordinary potency.
Board motorcoach for a drive through the countryside before arriving back to Sihanoukville.
Please note: Guests participating in this tour must be physically fit. Not suitable for those with mobility limitations. Wear loose lightweight clothing and comfortable walking shoes. Bring towel and swimsuits. It will be hot and humid. Restroom facilities are basic. Wildlife sightings is not guranteed.
