Upon disembarkation at Bastiong harbour, you will be welcomed by a ritual ceremony of JOKO KAHA, The ritual illustrates recognition of the greatness of the Sultan of Ternate. This colourful display is a wonderful start to a fascinating day in Ternate.
Board a local non air-conditioned bus and head to Sultan Palace. Here you can enjoy Cultural Performance while seeing what the Palace can offer.
Proceed to Batu Angus on the foot hill of Mt.Gamalama were solid black rock molten lava of Mt.Gamalama that erupted in 1673. It's seaside location give us an amazing views of the sea and nearby islands.
Last stop will be at TOLUCCO Fortress a Portuguese inheritance built in 1540. Fort Tolukko is located in the village of Duga Duga on the edge of Ternate City and it was one of the colonial forts built to control the trade in clove spices, which prior to the eighteenth century were only found in the Maluku Islands.
