Coron Island is a wedge-shaped, limestone island generously blessed with karst landscape of towering limestone cliffs, pristine white sand beaches, majestic lagoons, fantastic reefs and diverse marine life. You will cover three must-see destinations on this tour.Siete Pecados is one of the best places to snorkel (gear provided) on Coron. The marine life around these seven islands are amazing. You will see countless fish and the seafloor is covered with hard corals.
Next, head to the Twin Lagoons. The first lagoon is where the boat docks, while the second lagoon is hidden -- accessible only through a small crevice under the rock, which is exposed at low tide or, during high tide, a ladder over the rock. The temperature of the waters here alternate between warm and cool, because cool fresh water meets with the hot salt water. It is very relaxing to take a life jacket and just float and drift in the lagoon enjoying the temperature variation.
Capping off today's island visit is a stop at Banol Beach -- a stretch of sandy white beach surrounded by a majestic backdrop of towering limestone cliffs.
Please note: Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. Snorkeling is done from the boat at one location. Boats used are modified fishing boats or outrigger boats. Getting into and out of the boat can be a challenge. Not advisable for guests using a wheelchair or for those with mobility limitations. There is no changing room on board the boat. Wear your swimsuit under your clothing; bring a towel, sunscreen and a hat. There is a small, roofless restroom on the boat -- it is extremely basic.
